Roza completed her BA in Psychology and BSc in Physics with double major program at Koç University, Turkey, followed by a masters in Social Psychology from the same university (2016). Upon graduation, she worked as a researcher at Utrecht University on olfactory modality as a medium of social communication. Roza's PhD project will examine vocal expressions associated with specific positive emotions across cultures and across the lifespan. Her project aims to shed light on differentiation of positive emotions, considering similarities and differences across emotions, and taking into account cross-cultural and developmental features. Roza's PhD is funded by an ERC Starting grant awarded to Disa Sauter, and she will be supervised by Disa Sauter and Agneta Fischer.
