Roza's PhD dissertation, Positive Emotions in the Voice: Towards an Ethological Understanding, has been honored with the  2024 SESP Dissertation Award. This research, completed at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in April 2023, explores the ways in which positive emotions are expressed through vocalisations, drawing on insights from ethology.
